Why Wooden Rims ?
The answer is not obvious, anyone may ask '' are they not subject to break? '', '' How do they behave in case of rain? '', Well the answer is very simple, wood it is an extremely elastic material and thanks to the subsequent careful and accurate workings improved over the years lead to a product of craftsmanship excellence that resists bad weather and allows a safe and comfortable drive, greatly reducing vibrations and stresses.
Since 1946, the Cermenati family has pursued a continuous commitment to technical development and craftsmanship, striving to improve its products while remaining faithful to the history, tradition and passion that have always distinguished the Cerchio Ghisallo name.
Particular attention has always been devoted to the selection of the wood used in the production of the rims. From beech to bamboo, every piece was carefully inspected throughout the various stages of manufacturing and redirected to other uses whenever it did not meet the company's high quality standards.
A historic climb, the one that connects Bellagio to Magreglio, is right here where the Cerchio Ghisallo Laboratory is located, immediately after the climb traveled over and over again by all those cyclists who have made the history of this magnificent sport.
More precisely, the laboratory is located about 150 meters from the Museum and the church dedicated to cyclists.
